SOMETHING THAT CAUGHT OUR EYE
Chocolate pud gurus Gü are launching a restaurant for solo diners next month to celebrate its new single ramekin desserts. The two day pop-up from the 20th May, will immerse diners in the sights, sounds and smells of their chosen private paradise – from the Auckland islands to the Caribbean. Email dessertisland@gupuds.com to bag your slot.
TWEET OF THE WEEK
The Fever fashionistas are buzzing at the news that London Fashion Week is moving from Somerset House to Brewer Street car park – right on our doorstep! We will be celeb spotting from our roof terrace so watch this space…
WHAT’S TRENDING
The date night we’ve all dreamed of has landed – Motion Picture Supper Club, Presented By Tanqueray. Following hot on the heels of Hot Tub Cinema and Edible Cinema it’s the latest in super luxe cinema experiences. Spectators can expect a night of decadent glamour with cocktails, jazz, a candlelit dinner, an exclusive party, oh and the movie of course. We’re bagsying the back seat.
ONE TO WATCH
Global fashion brand BCBGMAXAZRIA has partnered with Magnum Ice Cream to take women on an olfactory adventure that blends the indulgence of chocolate and high fashion in one luxurious wrap. Made from suede and silky viscose and implanted with tiny oNotes that give off the aroma of Belgian Chocolate, the wrap aims to envelope women in chocolate pleasure without having to actually eat it.
WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO
This week we kept it local and landed at the Soho Theatre for the Found Footage Festival. If like us you spent many a happy hour watching ‘You’ve been framed’ growing up and now spend hours watching LOL clips on YouTube then this is the festival for you. All FFF’s content comes from VHS tapes found at thrift shops and garage sales across North America, from dodgy 80s aerobic videos to the world’s weirdest infomercials.
