This Week We Have Been

… feeling nostalgic about leaving Bayswater. After 20 + years in W2, we’re finally on the move and whilst we’re super excited about our new W1 location, there have been a few misty eyes as we say goodbye to our current offices and environs. We’ve spent the week saying goodbye for our favourite lunch spots – Fresco, Arancina, Planet Organic. We’ve bid farewell to the local characters including the man who plays the double bass outside Bayswater tube and the banter with the fruit stall men and we’ll be saying a fond farewell to the drinking establishments as soon as we’ve packed our crates. Watch out The Alfred, The Porchester and The Redan – we’re heading your way…

… getting our Fever on for our move to Soho – thinking about all that shopping, the amazing eating and drinking options on our doorstep and the single laydeez are expecting to meet the men of their dreams, apparently! So the roads of Soho seem to be paved with gold…

… enjoying a warm Summer evening at an outdoor cinema. Pop-up screens have been taking over parks all Summer showing classic films. This weekend we visited Coram Fields in Holborn, where they held a screening of Romeo & Juliet. With a blanket to snuggle under and BYOB it made the perfect Summer date night…

… making the most of the last of the British Summer with a mini-break to the Isle Of Wight. A traditional seaside holiday was had with activities including lying on the beach, playing crazy golf, crabbing on the pier, taking in views from a sky car and indulging in the freshest seafood. Pure bliss…

… rummaging through bric-a-brac at Europe’s largest flea market. A quick journey through the Euro Tunnel and short drive on Friday afternoon and we arrived in Lille, the host to most incredible flea market. Closing down the city for two days, the pedestrian is king with over 100km of streets packed full of second hand sellers and antiques traders for us to pick through. Luckily, after many crêpes and a LOT of French wine, we found what we were after – printers trays, old globes, crockery and a lovely vintage map. Now where do we put it all?!…

… playing lookey-likey. Feverettes Hannah and Alexandra not only turned up to work in the same trousers but managed to coordinate their outfit down to the silver shoes. Did no one else get the memo?
