3rd and Bird is the Word at London Zoo
Given the glorious sunshine at the weekend, it’s unsurprising that a good number of the Fever staff spent Sunday in Regent’s Park. Relaxing was the last thing on their mind, though, as they were also joined by West-End star Lee Mead, world whistling champion Michael Barimo and a host of celebrities and their children for the inaugural 3rd and Bird sing-a-long at London Zoo.
Developed to help promote the 3rd and Bird experience of parents singing with their kids, the event saw Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead teaching over a hundred Mums, Dads and children some of the catchiest songs from the new CBeebies favourite.
Already heavily featured on national TV (Loose Women) and radio (Radio 1 Fearne Cotton Show), the Tropical Birdhouse was packed to the rafters, with guests including Mel C, Sinitta, Gaby Roslin and Nell McAndrew. A great time was had by all – even if some of the younger guests didn’t appreciate the unforgettable spectacle of a former Spice Girl singing “The Muffin Express”.
