This Week We Have Been . . .
… catching a series of acoustic folk sets in East London’s vintage store come bar, Paper Dress Vintage. As the artists played their tunes in the shop window / stage, passers-by looked in while we sipping cocktails out of jam jars. Quirky.
… Heading to Battersea Power Station for the official EE 4G all-singing, all-dancing launch party. The evening started out with copious amounts of champers coupled with a spectacular 4D light show projected on the power station – what a start!! We were then treated to neverending delicious bite sized food – the Fever girls flocked to the dedicated Sushi station whilst the boys opted for the pie and steak section! Celeb host Nicole Scherzinger lit up the event space quite literally with her one-of-a-kind haute couture Twitter dress featuring over 2,000 LED lights. Us Feverites took to Twitter sending smoasting updates to #tweetthedress, watching in wonder as our tweets featured on Nicole’s hot bod in real time! The celeb turnout was pretty top notch too including Jonathan Ross, Stephen Fry, Pixie Lott, X Factor’s MK1, the cast from TOWIE and MIC and not forgetting the lovely Louie Spence. Cracking night!
… working the two tone brogue look. A colourful twist on a time-honoured classic!
Rocking the Stuff Awards at the London Film Museum. Staying true to tradition, it was a fantastic night, involving great food, lots of gadgets and comedy from Canadian stand-up Tom Stade.
… in double-O-heaven. Skyfall – one most anticipated films of the year – exploded onto the silver screen this week and we couldn’t resist the hype! We won’t give anything away, but suffice to say Daniel Craig’s physique doesn’t disappoint and Javier Bardem is one of the best Bond villains yet… but we’d like a little MOORE cheese next time! (Roger’s still our fav!)
