Introducing The Sound of Happy…
When C&G baby club asked us to join their integrated campaign to help launch ‘The Sound of Happy’, the first song scientifically tested and created to make babies happy, we were tickled pink (and blue, and every other colour because who needs gender conformity, am I right).
The Happy Song is not your average nursery rhyme. Created by Grammy award-winning Imogen Heap and expert psychologists, it’s no surprise the song has reached number one in the kids iTunes chart.
We launched The Happy Song on a very drizzly Sunday afternoon in London, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of our families and celebrity guests who turned up to the Ham Yard Hotel for a sneak preview of the song. Guests included Sam & Billie Faires, JB from JLS, Imogen Thomas, Charlotte Hawkins, Konnie Huq and TOWIE star Lydia Bright, all of whom brought their children and family members along.
The brightly decked out playful room was filled with little jumping jacks who couldn’t wait to hit the dance floor and get bopping away to the baby disco (awwwww). As the star of the show, the C&G baby club ‘The Happy Song’ floated across the airwaves as babies began giggling and parents joined in the fun by singing the afternoon away with their little ones.
Alongside the fantastic feedback from the happy parents, we launched the song to media with great success – securing key coverage in the likes of BBC Worldwide, BBC Radio 5 Live, Daily Mirror, Daily Star, The Sun, Daily Express, OK!, Daily Mail and Reveal online alongside key tweets from the celebrity guests – helping the song to leap to the top of that chart.
It also supported in kick-starting conversations between parents around the country on what makes their little ones giggle. Here’s to the future of The Happy Song keeping babies smiling and dancing for generations.
