Creating beautiful ‘Budget Blooms’ with the Flower Council of Holland
We were busy bees at Fever last month, bringing a ‘Budget Blooms Brunch & Workshop’ event to life with Funny How Flowers Do That, an initiative from the Flower Council of Holland that encourages us all to experience the joy and happiness of flowers.
As the cost-of-living crisis continues to dominate the news agenda and our lives, with many being impacted by rising energy costs, inflation and the rising costs of goods and services, everyone is making cutbacks.

We wanted to show that even the smallest and most affordable cut flowers can spark joy and brighten up any home, whatever the budget.
We invited some of our closest media and influencer friends to the beautiful Treehouse Hotel London for an exclusive morning with a floral-inspired brunch followed by a flower workshop hosted by TikTok sensation and florist Alexander Campbell of @acfloralstudio, who has amassed over 1.3M followers on his channel with his awe-inspiring floral creations.
With incredible views overlooking the city, guests were given tips and tricks to create beautiful budget blooms for varying budgets. From stunning vase arrangements to small posies, creating impact with single-stem arrangements to using a flower fog, guests spent the morning immersing themselves in floral arrangements, taking home their beautiful budget blooms to continue spreading the joy.
The results:
- Our ‘small’ workshop was oversubscribed – we increased the attendee list from 10 to 17!
- More than 60 pieces of earned social coverage with a total potential reach of 1.4M
