Fever Goes Back to Uni . . .

Yesterday, three of us ventured down south to Bournemouth University for the day, giving students at the renowned Media School a taste of all things consumer PR.

The students were on the edge of their seats as Bruce became the first guest lecturer to share his wisdom as part of a student-led campaign, setting the standards with a fascinating lecture on Story Telling in 2013. Just check out #FeverWednesday to see the excitement for yourself!

Bournemouth-grads Lauren and Hannah then led three interactive workshops, giving students valuable insight on everything from selling in to news generation techniques – they even got the students involved in a back-to-back sell-in.

Even though the weather wasn’t kind enough for a paddle in the sea, it was certainly a fun-packed day. It was great to give an introduction to the practical skills of consumer PR to a Media School with a global reputation for its research and teaching practices.

We also had the chance to visit our very own Fliss who is currently completing her final year after a year placement with Fever, good luck Fliss!

We were invited by the lovely Dev, who recently carried out work experience with us and wanted to give his course-mates a flavour of what we do. Thanks again for having us BU – can we come back please?
