Fever Heads to London Fashion Week

Is it really London Fashion Week again? The exciting chattering in the Fever offices – well, amongst the girls – would suggest so, as would the huge amounts of work being done by the Mercedes-Benz team!

Mercedes-Benz are the official car partners to London Fashion Week, so the team have been flat out organising the cars for the accredited journalists and ferrying various VIPs from catwalk shows to after parties. But we are most excited about the launch of the Mercedes-Benz Car Boot-ique (www.mercedes-benz.co.uk/fashion), which went live Friday 17th September!

We’ve secured 85 gorgeous lots, donated by over 30 of the world’s leading fashion designers, to be auctioned during LFW with all proceeds going to two charity partners (Fashion East and the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation). It’s a one-stop shop for fashionistas looking to snap up must-have and limited edition pieces  – featuring fabulous donations from fashion designers including Betty Jackson, Christopher Kane, Eley Kishimoto, Erdem, Holly Fulton, Jaeger London, Jonathan Saunders, Matthew Williamson, Phillip Treacy as well as many, many more.

We’ve even received limited edition car accessories from House of Holland, Hannah Marshall, Charlotte Olympia, Katie Hillier, Eley Kishimoto and E.Tautz.

It’s all causing quite a buzz – check out what Stylist, Timeout, The Independent, Vogue, Harpers and Handbag had to say – and we’re only just getting started!

We’re also delighted to welcome back friend of Fever Sasha Wilkins (aka Liberty London Girl) who will again be taking over the @MercedesLFW twitter handle and be providing reports, updates and exclusive footage live from the LFW catwalk shows and all the must-attend parties. Follow her on twitter and read the Mercedes-Benz blog at www.voicesoffashion.co.uk.
