Fever scrambles into Minion madness
Here at Fever, we’ve been delving in Minion madness, as we looked after the DVD and Blu-ray release of animated adventure Despicable Me 2.
We’ve had the pleasure of having the company of the stars of the film, the mischievous and hilarious Minions.
Firstly, the guys scrambled to the HQ of ultimate kids magazine, Toxic, for a special Minternship issue takeover. They took part in an exclusive photo shoot, acting as interns for the mag. Getting involved in lots of office activities, the Minions caused mayhem, as they made tea, sorted out the post, completed office admin on PCs, and of course, had to stop for a snack of bananas! There was an invasion of Minion coverage including a front page splash, double page feature, snippets throughout the issue, an invasion video with Toxic Online and posts on Toxic’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
The next stop for the Minions was a live appearance on ITV on The Paul O’Grady Show. The Minions acted as Paul’s little helpers, with tasks including presenting the mighty JLS a birthday cake…! The guys were also shown in action doing what they do best, with a clip from the film airing on the show.
The fun doesn’t stop there. The final stop for the mischievous little guys was a guest appearance at everyone’s favourite toy shop, Hamleys on Regent Street. The Minions began the day being wrapped up for Christmas by the one and only, Lydia Rose-Bright and her little sister. After the excitement of this, the little fellas posed for pictures with the public, adding an extra special twist to their Christmas shopping. Check out the Minions in action at Mail Online, Reveal and Daily Star.
It’s been a blast!
