Fever takes on the cold with the Nordics launch of BBC iPlayer
The Fever team came over all European again this month with the launch of the BBC’s hugely popular iPlayer service across Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
The iPlayer launch activity across the Nordics followed the high profile launch of iPlayer in Western Europe and Australia earlier in the year – the genius of iPlayer really is taking over the world!
Not since the Vikings invaded our shores has a Brit–Nordic invasion of such scale been witnessed. However, this time around it was less about pillaging and more about bringing great TV on demand to our Nordic brothers.
The Fever team co-ordinated a media relations programme across all three territories to announce the arrival of iPlayer which generated an impressive 58 pieces of coverage across national news, technology magazines and blogs.
Our lovely coverage included interviews with the Managing Director of Global iPlayer Matthew Littleford in key titles ‘Computer Sweden’ and ‘Katso.’
