Fever’s Flutter for day two of the Cheltenham Festival

To celebrate we have got our resident experts, of which there are none, to give their tips for today’s seven races.

Here are all the horses we’ve picked as winners. They may not win the race, but they are winners where it really counts: life.

Race 1 – 1:30 – The Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle
Fever’s Flutter: LiveLaughLove – 33/1
For today’s first race Account Executive Hannah has gone for LiveLaughLove based on the insight that she “lives, laughs and loves”. It’s deep and it’s real, man.

Race 2 – 2:10 – RSA Novices’ Chase
Fever’s Flutter: Whisper – 13/2
Account Manager, Jess feels you should always be wary of competitors that succeed despite little to no known talent, or a dark horse if you will. Jess has a feeling Whisper is just that.

Race 3 – 2:50 – Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle
Fever’s Flutter: Bravissimo – 50/1
Senior Account Executive Jade has kept her reason short and sweet for this one – “underwear brand, it’s SEXY”

Race 4 – 3:30 – Betway Queen Mother Hurdle (Race of the day!)
Fever’s Flutter: Special Tiara – 20/1
Account Assistant Mark says he’s hoping Special Tiara will shine through in today’s Queen Mother Champion Chase as an each-way bet. Noel Fehily (the jockey) will be wearing the stars and stripes of Mrs. S. Rowley-Williams (the owner). We don’t really know what that means either, it would appear Mark knows about horse racing.

Race 5 – 4:10 – Glenfarclas Chase
Fever’s Flutter: Amazing Comedy – 66/1
Our Senior Content Producer Danny Wong has gone for Amazing Comedy. At 66/1 it’s a bit of an underdog, but don’t underdog stories make the best comedies?*
*Unless it’s a Vince Vaughn movie.

Race 6 – 4:50 – Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle
Fever’s Flutter: Domperignon Du Lys – 11/1
Associate Director Hannah and our MD Bruce have picked Domperignon Du Lys. Not because of the tenuous association between PR and champagne, but because they were impressed by his hurdling debut in Newcastle in November, and he has good form on good to soft ground. And because Alf Ramsey’s Porn Dungeon isn’t running.

Race 7 – 5:30 – Weatherbys Champion Bumper
Fever’s Flutter: Someday – 8/1
Our racing-savvy design team have said today it’s all about the girl power and the female jockey, Kate Harrington. They’ve gone for Someday. Kate give us a shout next time and we can help design you a new jersey.
