In The Fast Lane With Lewis Hamilton
Fever has been living life in the fast lane recently with Lewis Hamilton – oh it’s a hard life isn’t it! The Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy in Brooklands, Surrey has hit its 2-year milestone and what better way to celebrate than with a visit from the Academy’s ambassador and all-round driving idol, Lewis Hamilton. Since launching two years ago, the prestigious Driving Academy has produced some seriously impressive first-time pass rate results of 78% Vs. the 48% national average. Now that’s worth celebrating!
As well as greeting his loyal fans and celebrating the launch of the Academy’s summer driving packages, Lewis also conducted some broadcast and regional media interviews that Fever had set up in advance with the aim of communicating the benefits of learning to drive before 17 and relaying the achievements of the Academy since launch. The time with Lewis resulted in the three strong and valuable pieces of coverage; a 3 minute feature piece on Daybreak; a feature piece and interview in regional title Surrey Advertiser which also appeared online at GetSurrey.co.uk and a piece still to come in regional magazine Surrey Life. With broadcast and regional media being key priorities for this piece of activity we feel we deserve a big pat on the back!
