KICK-ASS COMIC CANV-ASS
As part of our work on the home entertainment release of badass action blockbuster, Kick-Ass 2, the Fever team donned face masks and took on superhero aliases at the Kick-Ass Comic Canv-Ass event last Saturday.
Aimed at fans of the Kick-Ass franchise, comics and street art, the event took place on the rooftop of Rockwell House in Shoreditch, and gave people the chance to create their own Kick-Ass inspired artwork and recreate writer and exec producer Mark Millar’s favourite scene on a giant comic strip.
EndoftheLine’s team of leading street artists, Jim Vision, Dr Zadok, Rufus Dayglo and Ed Hicks were on hand to show exactly how it’s done, helping less experienced artists and fans to bring out their hidden talents.
If that wasn’t enough, one of the stars of Kick-Ass 2 – Tom Benedict Knight – also put in an appearance to greet fans and show off his artistic skills, recreating the scene he starred in alongside Hit Girl and Kick-Ass.
Check out our video of the event below, plus some great coverage of the event on FrontArmy.co.uk, Comic Buzz and The Art Shelf.
