Media jet in from around the world as HTC announces HTC Sensation XL With Beats Audio
Technology journalists joined celebrity A-listers, HTC partners, members of the public and HTC fans to make up a crowd of almost 2,000 people all of whom were there to help HTC celebrate the launch of their new smartphone, the HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio, at the Roundhouse in Camden.
Before the party started, HTC hosted a press conference to a crowd of over 200 media and 250 partners where HTC CEO Peter Chou introduced the new device to rapturous applause. With Dr Dre watching from the wings, Peter was joined on stage by Beats Co-founder Jimmy Iovine who explained how the partnership between the two brands was a perfect match.
The visually spectacular press conference went off without a hitch and was streamed to over 20 countries over the internet. In attendance were 70 key media targets from the UK and over 140 from across Europe and Asia who were flown in for the launch. Taking on the logistical challenge of hundreds of flights, hotel rooms and transfers as well as event planning and execution on the night, the Nelson Bostock Group team proved once again that they can tackle any project with resounding success. Modest, us?? Nah!
With extensive media follow up in the days following the event, outstanding coverage has been gained across the board, with well in excess of 250 UK hits, including articles on Tech Radar, Engadget and Pocket-lint.
After the press conference it was time to party; with hundreds of members of the public who had been queuing for hours taking to the dance floor to show their love for Will.I.Am, Nero and Fedde le Grande.
Long days, late nights and sore feet were all worth it in the end with Nelson Bostock Group proud of another successful launch event.
