Come on down to Tikky Town!
If there’s one good thing to come out of lockdown, it’s TikTok. From Addison Rae to Loren Gray, viral dance challenges, to songs that rocketed through the charts (Doja Cat we’re looking at you), the platform has brought us lots of laughs when we needed it the most.
And we’ve been lucky enough to be working with The O2’s retail destination, Icon Outlet, to help launch the UK’s very first TikTok-inspired funhouse. That’s right, a whole space dedicated to Gen T (Gen TikTok). Introducing Tikky Town, a brand new content capture experience with amazing backdrops for taking photos and videos that are designed to make your TikTok pop and give your friends total social channel envy.
Working with the Tikky Town team, we identified the most influential and exciting TokTok creators out there who could help spread the news and show the space in action. We then invited these stars of the TikTok universe to come down for a special preview event and add extra sparkle to their channels with colourful and creative scenes built entirely with their platform in mind.
We helped Icon Outlet secure an all-star line up of guests including the (legendary) Grandad Frank, ICON House and Great British Memes as well as journalists from Metro and OK! Magazine, with over 40 guests shooting and sharing some spectacular TikTok content.
From a pink Lamborghini (our personal fave) to a fan-controlled balloon room, a rainbow cloud swing to a neon playground, the creators (and our team) had an absolute field day exploring the different backdrops on offer.
With a tsunami (yes it was that much) of social content following the event, the team secured an incredible social reach of 64,000,100, with 107 posts across TikTok and Instagram to date… and we’ve only just started.
If you’ve been waiting for the moment to launch your TikTok career, now’s your chance.
