Get to know Joe, our latest Social Media Manager, with a little Q&A…

A campaign that’s inspired me is…

One of my favourites is Spotify Wrapped, I love seeing the difference in people’s music tastes each year, seeing their guilty pleasure songs – it’s just all round a really fun, data driven campaign that always gets people talking. Plus it’s definitely a social first approach – with the actual data being presented to you in Stories format directly in Spotify, so you recognise the way it’s being presented and it makes you want to share it.

My morning social routine is…

Usually scroll Instagram for a little bit while my cats try to get me out of bed for their breakfast!

My professional superpower is…

I’m quite good at staying calm, collected and relaxed and try to make other colleagues feel the same if they’re a bit stressed.

Do you have any hobbies/talents that you keep on the downlow?

I’m in an amateur theatre group and have been in all sorts of shows – from Pantomime’s as Peter Pan, to musicals as Gaston in Beauty in the Beast or Danny Zuko in Grease.

My cultural jam is…

A band called Bear’s Den who are quite a chilled out acoustic style band. Although my Spotify Wrapped has definitely been skewed by my wife listening to A LOT of Taylor Swift… I’m also big into gaming – Baldur’s Gate 3 is my current fave.
