Sky Sports Ultimate Pub Quiz
Last week the team hosted the Sky Sports Ultimate Pub Quiz to mark the start of the new Premiership season and to showcase the wealth of Sky Sports content available across the seven channels including the newly launched Sky Sports 5.
We scoped out The Thirsty Bear as the venue, a quirky pub where you can pour pints from your table and make orders from the bar via iPads! We then worked hard to transform the boozer into the ultimate sporting haven.
After recruiting the queen of F1 pit stop reporting Natalie Pinkham and definitive football lad Max Rushden from Soccer AM to host the quiz, we rallied up 10 media teams including Esquire, Daily Star, Daily Express, Shortlist, Sport, Tech Radar, C-Net and Zoo to take part. We well and truly put their sporting knowledge to the test with quiz rounds including creative captions, true or false, sizzle reel observation and everyone’s favourite: the commentary round.
After a fun-filled night, the winners were… drum roll please…… ZOO Magazine!
