The Lonely Plants Club
Last week Fever opened the doors to ‘The Lonely Plants Club’, a speed dating pop up with a twist for TheJoyOfPlants.co.uk. We helped lonely plant singletons get matched up with their ‘perfect plant-ner’, with the help of five questions that identified whether a Fitness Fanatic, Romantic, Adventurer, Intellectual or Animal Lover plant was the match for them. The wonderful plant expert, Mr Plant Geek, was on hand to help, give tips and advice on how’s best to look after your plant!
Kicking off with a media and influencer preview night, with attendees including Stylist, The Sun, Grazia, Livingetc., Heat and HELLO and many more, the botanical cocktails flowed, as Mr Plant Geek helped paired the media with their ideal match. The wonderful Food Guide London shared the event on their social channels to over 200,000 followers too.
Then on Friday and Saturday, over 150 members of the public came to our SOLD OUT events too. It was great to see so many people learn about the wonders of plants and see so many budding relationships begin! And we got some great feedback:

‘The Lonely Plants Club’ was the talk of the dating scene, with coverage in Secret London, The Sun, Daily Express, Country & Townhouse and great social posts from our influencer attendees across Instagram and TikTok. We saw so many happy faces and blooming couples that we might just have to do it again…
