There Aint No Party Like An NBG Party!
This time last week, we were setting off on our annual Nelson Bostock Group summer off-site and it was definitely one to remember…
During the afternoon we unleashed our competitive sides and embarked on a team-building scavenger hunt, courtesy of The Treasure Hunt Company. With our ‘survival kits’ in tow, we were set a variety of challenges from collecting sordid objects, naming obscure landmarks to capturing unsightly photos whilst hunting down some dubious looking characters along the way. Oh and each team was required to hold on to a piece of rope for the entire duration and couldn’t let go without being penalised, hilarious!
After large doses of hysteria, tantrums and rule-breaking, our quest came to a close at our new soon-to-be office on Gt Pultney Street, with the winning team (go Team Metal!) being awarded with some celebratory bubbly, plus the permission to gloat to their team-mates until next year.
We then finished up at Auriol Kensington Rowing Club in Hammersmith for a delicious BBQ topped off with some Rockaoke – karaoke with a live band. From Rage Against The Machines to The Pussycat Dolls, there was something for everyone and the NBG crowd was on top form. Martin Bostock was the headline act as he took to the stage with a heart-felt rendition of Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars – what more could you ask for? Bring on next year!
