… toasting our very own superstar Melissa and her sisters for their Highly Commended win at the Cosmo Blog Awards for their must-read lifestyle blog 3BadMice.
…drooling over Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Taylor Johnson AND Blake Lively in Savages. A few of us Feverites headed over to Universal earlier this week for a glass of wine, some nibbles and a screening of Oliver Stone’s new film and what an action-packed thrill it was. … getting in our winter comfort food with cocktails and small plates at Pizza East Portobello. We can’t get enough of the mouth-watering dishes – our favourites are crab and polenta, Banham chicken, Lamb cutlets and salsa verde. Not forgetting the beautiful big green Sicilian olives and almonds – all washed down with a couple of glasses of Picpoul and followed by a couple of Espresso martinis for good measure!
…putting in the final hours of training for the Royal Parks Half Marathon. Our resident road-runner Jo will be running 13 miles to raise money for the Family Rights Group – a small charity set up to challenge the issues experienced by many families involved with social services and the unnecessary separation of children from their families. The charity relies on donations to provide much needed help to vulnerable families – such as a specialist telephone support line for grandparents and other relatives who are raising children who cannot live with their parents. The support line enables relatives to talk to and meet others in a similar situation. Jo’s sponsorship page is here!
