It’s also the year 2019, and poor Terry Mac is lost, presumed dead, back on Earth’s Sector 7. It’ll all make more sense (kind of) if you just follow @GalacticKeegan. Do it.
…drinking stein and eating sauerkraut at Katzenjammers – London’s favourite bierkeller complete with Oompa Band. What’s not to love?
…staring wide-eyed at The Wolf of Wall Street last weekend. We settled into our seats at Clapham Picturehouse to watch the film everyone’s talking about, and what can we say… just WOW! Three hilarious hours of sex, drugs and excessive amounts of money certainly woke us up on a sleepy Sunday afternoon. And some great news followed this week, as the Universal team won the Home Entertainment campaign for the film, so watch this space!
…getting Tumblr-famous by fitting things perfectly into other things.
…contemplating getting a Kindle just so we can read this book. The cover says it all. It looks amazing. (PRO TIP: the author’s website is equally spectacular)
…getting back into film photography thanks to the kind folks at Film’s Not Dead – you can find them at the Backyard Market on Brick Lane on Saturdays – well worth a visit!
…wrapping our ears around the dulcet tones of two singer songwriters. The Grammy award-winning Foxes performed a short set at Shoreditch House, dressed in typical hipster dress-down cool, her voice was powerful yet silky smooth and her quips natural and entertaining. Meanwhile, James Newman performed as part of the Soho House Sessions, and as the brother of John, has a similar lyrical and powerful voice (maybe more silky soulful). He is also a producer and songwriter, having co-written the Rudimetal track ‘Waiting All Night’.
