…checking out Robert Mapplethorpe’s latest exhibition at the Tate. As well as his own self-portraits, there are also photographs of some of the most creative artists of our time, including Andy Warhol and the legend that is Patti Smith. Definitely worth a visit!
…visiting family in sunny Symonds Yat. Last weekend we made the 3 hour journey to the hills in Herefordshire for a much deserved countryside getaway. We enjoyed long walks in the hills and fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden – they’ve never tasted so good! Being woken up by sheep baaing is definitely something we weren’t used to…
…dining in style at Jason Atherton’s stunning Berners Tavern. Sampling melt-in-your-mouth steak tartare complete with duck egg and salsa verde, followed by Cornish turbot with squid ink risotto, this wow-factor venue never disappoints.
…celebrating National Donut Day in style, with a serious sugar-feast – all before 11am! Who needs a proper breakfast anyway?
