Two Nominations At The SABRE Awards!

So we may have lost an hour in bed this morning, but there have been worse ways to start the week, especially as we woke up to the news that Fever has been nominated for two SABRE Awards…

First to be nominated is our campaign celebrating the launch of the PlayStation 4. Taking place over an epic two week period, the campaign saw us give London’s OXO Tower a very special facelift by replacing its famous letters with the iconic PlayStation symbols and simultaneously hosting a VIP media event on the Tower’s 8th floor brasserie attended by Jonathan Ross, McBusted, Professor Green, The Wanted and many more.

We also invited gamers to play their favourite PS4 launch titles against Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey, boxing legend Amir Khan and PlayStation superfan Dizzee Rascal at the PS4 Lounge in Covent Garden; and hosting a midnight retail launch attended by more than 400 gaming fanatics!

The launch of Jackpotjoy’s FUNdation has also been nominated – a campaign we devised to get the nation having more fun with Jackpotjoy by creating a £250,000 Facebook bursary to FUN’d daft ideas. We launched the campaign with the daftest stunt we could think of by sailing a giant 50 foot yellow rubber duck down the River Thames! Check out the pics below to see the duck in action.

The winners will be announced at a suitably glitzy ceremony on the 20th May, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed ’til then!
